The man didn't speak Igbo for the first time. He said he was born and raised in Enugu but goes back to his village in the North seasonally. He said he would rather vote Peter Obi than vote thieves.

Language is indeed very powerful. Just see how happy the Igbos are to have him in thier midst. They even gave him money at the end. I'm sure the reaction would be different if he was saying exactly the same thing in Hausa. That's why I'm not surprised Nigeria and Ghana relate as if they don't have a francophone country in-between. Lol
