I'm on vacation and will travel to UK tomorrow for a 2-week sightseeing and will like to keep you guys posted.
Though I had been to UK thrice in the past, but this is the first time I will detail my experience here.
And the past travels were through BA, Abuja straight to London Heathrow, but this time I will go with Emirates via Dubai. As an ardent Arsenal supporter, I have to patronise their sponsors.
And it's the first time I will use the new International Departure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
Will update you guys the first part when I check in tomorrow at 6pm. Good thing Emirates leaves at 6pm, so no hurries, unlike BA that leaves first thing in the morning and u have to go to the airport at dusk, disoriented. Not demarketing BA. I still prefer BA for the short time (about 6 hrs and u are already in london) unlike this one that will take 2 days to get there and 2 days to come back.

London girls are no-go area o. Ha, the shortest way to go to jail in UK. Women, children and girls there are no-go area.
I remember my first trip to London. See one fine black girl. The finest girl I have ever seen in my life. I wanted to die. Told my London pally I was with that I wanted to go and toast that girl. The guy begged me with all the African gods, say abeg, dont try it. I looked at the guy, he was already kneeling and crying, say abeg u in the name of God. That's the only thing that stopped me. The girl finished her food with the 2 white men she came with and left. I abandoned my food and went out, watching the beauty of my life walking away.
And I was like wow! Why didn't I see this kind of girl in Abuja. Even if she's surrounded by 20 men, I will pierce in. Me?!!! I go enter anyhow.
But UK wahala too much. I just want to go and feed my eyes again and come back. When I enter Abuja, every every will start happening.

Got into the airport this evening and in less than 30 mins completed all the checks. The agencies just too plenty, u dont evening know which is which. I just dey drop money dey go.
The airport is still new. No much shops yet. The number of human beings outside the airport are far more than the number of people inside the airport.
Finally we are boarding.
The aircraft is really beautiful. I'm sure I will thoroughly enjoy the 7-hour flight.

Dubai Airport is very big and very beautiful. As if the whole world is there. But very expensive. If u keep converting the prices to naira equivalent, u wount buy anything.

We arrived London Heathrow in very good time. 3.45pm local time. If u are from UK or any the 12 countries below, u go straight to the eGate, scan your passport and go in less than 5 mins (Singapore is there o, but no African country is there). Else, you join the great queue. As if the whole world was in Heathrow. It got to my turn at 6.30pm. Just a few questions and immigration stamped my passport.
Im fully in now and going to The Palace tomorrow to announce my arrival.

Hello my people. I'm back. Came back yesterday and got entangled in Osun governorship election matters and forgot to update u guys.
London sweet pass honey. Wow. See city, see law and order. See institutions working. 2 weeks in UK and light never blinked. Sweetest is London 2-decked buses. U will climb up inside bus as if u are climbing up stairs if a duplex.
The 2 reasons that made me come back are
1. My immediate family
2. To go back to work. To see the convergence of black people like me. And shout and raise my voice whenever I want.
