I need NL members with gud dress sense to make recommendation 4 me,my wedding comes up by sept 2011,i wanna go 4 my wears/accessories early August, for me n my grooms men. D color choosen 4 d day is purple/lilac & gold.As the groom im thinking of using gold color cravat, now what i need from d NL is what type of suit,color of shirt can i go 4 and dat of my grooms men to match wit current trends so dat i dont color riot my day.Or what if u r given d day 2 dress me what wears do u recommend i wear,i mean evrything?

Hi Poster,

I used these same colours for my wedding and they came out perfectly.
Gold is the colour of wealth and Purple is the colour of royalty.
the groomsmen wore black suits, white shirt and lilac ties
while the maids wore a lilac and purple dress.
Me and my best man wore a grey suit with white shirt and gold cravat and waistcoat.
the colours came out very well on that day, !
