As the headline states, state when (month) you decided Peter Obi was the candidate to support and vote for and your reason.

As for me, I looked at my picture gallery and saw that my first ever downloaded picture of Obi was in late May. I also made my first nairaland post supporting Obi that period. Take note this was when he was still in PDP, I was hoping he becomes the PDP flagbearer and was initially confused when he left and heartbroken but now I'm fvcking energized for him.

As for what convinced me, I came across two videos of this man, one was where he was speaking against governors and former government officials still receiving huge pensions and asking people to go and verify that he has not received one naira from Anambra state since he left office.

The second was where he was outlining how he cut the cost of governance in Anambra state. He met the state in large debt and also owing workers, he cut the leakages across government and paid the workers, built roads, schools and hospitals and still saved and invested lots of money for the subsequent government.

And just like that, this man bought my soul. grin grin grin

So Obidients state your own conversion experience and when. My first saved picture below and Early videos of the man.

I know his leadership is what her nation needs but I chose not to take him serious because during the primaries the political heavy weights would likely not give him a chance. I made the decision to support him when he was offered the labour party platform

As an Anambarian who experienced his leadership personally,I can say that I have always been OBIdient. I will always vote for him no matter the post he is contesting for.

His policy on cut down of cost of government is what we need right now.

When I was at my state(Delta state), around 2015 or so, Alot of people were debating on Peter Obi's administration in Anambra state and Uduaghan Administration in Delta state; that was when I knew about him.

I am supporting him because he is better than the two other candidates in terms of accountability and integrity ..

I have countless reasons for supporting Obi.
I love the man when I first heard him speaking on life debate against Professor Osibanjo. He looked calm, eloquent and very confident.

I loved him more when I saw his CV ... That was mad bomb for me and I asked myself when will I achieve such in my life.

I loved him even more when I found out he was impeached because he refused budget padding and he never lobbied any cartel in the State house of assembly. You won't believe Mr. Obi never met the judge for once who finally granted him victory in the court.

I love the fact that Mr. Obi doesn't sponsor any political group or sponsored any particular candidate. He does his things to favour the masses equally and he leaves the masses to choose their candidates uninfluenced.

I was mad when I learnt that doing the last global recessions different country leaders consulted Obi internationally to help formulate economic policies for their country.

I was impressed when I learnt Obi did different ground breaking ceremonies for launching numerous manufacturing companies during his tenure including the popular Inoson Motors.

To my greatest surprise I never believed any Eastern State would be tide down to the timid rural villages. Where I grew up, if you see any tide road in a village know that it belongs to a Royalty. When I first got to Anambra back then, I thought maybe those areas are special hometown of kings or ex governors but my dad told me it was widespread in Anambra that Obi did it.

Obi is the first Governor I heard that gave one million naira to every 1st class graduate of Anambra State throughout his tenure and he always passionately sponsored the excellently brilliant ones abroad for u to know he is passionate about knowledge and world class education.

Obi cleared all back logs of gratuities and pensions which his predecessors owed. Not only that, he paid monthly stipends to all elderly persons who are not even entitled to receiving pensions throughout his tenure.

Obi partnered with various foreign companies as well in Anambra, I learnt this when I was watching a clip where some foreigners called him upon a stage to present him an award.

Obi made Anambra become recognised as an oil producing State.

State owned Teaching hospitals in the State were moribund till Obi came and revived them.
He opened and properly equipped countless number of schools.

Obi is an economist but he is a convener of STEM. Science, technology and computer programming and when you hear him speaking about science you will think he is an engineer.

To cap it all he rejected all allowances allocated to him and left 75 billion naira behind for the next administration.

There was a programme I watched when Obi was asked how he will cut insecurity he said the ratio of police to Nigerian population is too wide that he will employ thousands of more police officers for proper intelligence gathering. A Yoruba boy called Tunde called in on the radio station and told him he should make each ward in the country to have two policemen each that it will go a long way and Obi was madly impressed. I loved his humility and how he eulogized and appreciated the caller for coming up with such wonderful idea.

Just like a medical professional who hates seeing unkept wounds.
Obi an inherent technocrat is indeed a true economist who hates seeing unnecessary waste!!!

Igbesa, Lusada dey Alaigbo?
ThAGodFaThEr1:
As a confirmed Omoluwabi and Yoruba from a royal family in igbęsa, Ogun state, I started supporting Peter Gregory Obi when he visited a primary school in Lusada and quietly donated money for the total rehabilitation and reconstruction of the school. He earned my respect and accolade that day, little wonder HRM OBA ITU OLASUNKANMI YUSUF, Onigboko of Igbokoland, Lusada, Igbesa conferred Peter Obi with the chieftaincy title of Ayedero of Lusada, Igbesa.

I went to Anambra for my tertiary education in 2002 and it was literary like hell. Bad roads, dilapidated infrastructure, unending robbery attacks, salaries owed, gratuity and pension owed to the tune of 32 billion naira; students in public schools stayed at home for more than a year etc.

September 2022: posters of one unknown guy everywhere with the caption "Is Anambra State CURSED or are we the CAUSE?"

Those words tugged at my heartstrings. I wanted to know more about the guy. 2 months later, the new guy won APGA primaries. Within 3 months, everyone was saying they would vote for him. Surprising cause APGA was a new party contesting for the very first time.

Man won, PDP rigged him out. Man spent hundred of millions to get back him mandate including hiring World class forensic experts.

Man got back his mandate. No other person from his party won even Councillorship. He was impeached for not agreeing to inflate contracts. He went to court and got back his mandate.

Man started working. Roads were being tarred everywhere. He tarred all the roads including inside villages. Schools rebuilt and equipped. Public schools became better than private schools. He payed 32 billion pension and gratuity arrears. Industries started springing up everywhere. Robbery attacks ended. Payed all first class graduates , and indeed all best graduating students one million naira. He did all these without borrowing and more importantly, without increasing taxes.

Man showed that there is enough money in government if you cut excesses. Left above 75 billion, most in dollars thinking his successor would do same so that the combined money and its interest can be used to jump-start the Anambra economy in future by supporting thousands of SMEs. Man was thinking about future generations!!! Man waived all his entitlements after leaving office, saying he can't use people's taxes and sweat to enrich himself.

Man is so humble. Met him twice as governor. No airs. Simple. No big convoys. No sirens. Men, this man, Peter Obi, is different. I still can't believe how lucky we were to have him.

God bless you, Sir. You can be sure that we will always always appreciate you and pray for God's blessings in your life.

The Anambra SARS panel has so far exposed the killings of 140 people murdered by James Nwafor and his team at the dreaded Akwuzu SARS.

This figure is from testimonies provided by surviving relatives of the deceased before the SARS panel and does not include other killings like the well over 200 bodies of Massob members murdered by Nwafor and his team and several other unknown people killed without a trace whom their relatives are yet to even be aware of their fate .

All these killings went on unabated under the stewardship of Peter Obi as governor of Anambra state who granted the shoot at sight order to SARS and other security outfits.

We will never know how many people where extra judicially murdered by the likes of James Nwafor , the Police and other state vigilante groups that were bankrolled and provided blanket impunity to go on a killing spree.

From all indicators, Peter Obi would have done same thing to Endsars protesters, Shiite groups and even his now beloved IPOB followers if he was president.

Obi is a fraud , a liar and a bloody hypocrite masquerading as a saint.

But by far his greatest sin is the obvious tribal nature of his campaign and followers who are using the fake mantra of another change to bring forth an Igbo presidency.

Don't be fooled by Osus
