After charging the pan-African payment solutions provider with a crime, Kenyan authorities have blocked Flutterwave's financial assets.

According to the indictment, which was handed out on Wednesday, Flutterwave was one of around seven companies accused of engaging in questionable activities and failing to adhere to financial standards in Kenya.

The largest of the companies involved in the investigation, Flutterwave, had its accounts frozen by the nation's Asset Recovery Agency for $56.7 million (6.7 billion Kenyan shillings).
