Insecurity has always been a bane of Nigerian state but it is heightened now during Buhari’s regime because he always ‘doesn’t know’
And many govts have left the situation unaddressed because of people who feed fat on the allocations and the powers that sponsor the criminals for political reasons.
About months ago, I visited Ilesa in Osun state, if you see how cultists were operating in a broad day light. No policeman dared challenged them until they finished their killings. They operated for weeks without any challenge from any security quarters.
Was forced to ask questions and all I was told was that; for them to stop their fights, the king and not even the Governor or police must appeal to them and settle them monetarily(why? Because govt use them for political abracadabra) Monster we are raising . Imagine the impetus!
The issue of insecurity in Nigeria won’t be solved until we have a president who has a strong will( a set of young revolutionaries , not even Obi not Tinubu.
