Any one who has stayed in the middle belt knows the true horrors of being a non-Muslim.. I was almost trapped in leventis round about by ahmadu bello way in kaduna..Im telling you, fear can cause one to do stupid things.

That day, I had a choice of taking the route which passed through a Christian community or through ahmadu bello way.... Considering that the Christian route is new and public transports don't use the road often.

So, i opted to follow the muslim route. On getting there, I saw masses of trapped Christian. People where literally fighting themselves for bus.

You know why? Despite the fact that buses to my destination were scarce right from the beginning, the Muslim bus driver had refused to drive into Christian dominated communities. This meant that there were even fewer buses.

Omo, all the buses that took of prior to my arrival had yet to return, and those we saw coming back had already been filled for the next take off. It appears the "smart" fellows were waiting for the bus by the road side - ahead of us who were at the bus station.

So this is what the instinct to survive feels like. You put your own life above all others; women and children. My first experience of this shenanigan must have been around 2003 of so. Bruh! I was walking on the main road, I was an 8 year old kid on a 30 minutes walk to school. I saw hausa boys stopping vehicles, some stopping bikes.. My lord!! I just kept moving with my face down. Walking as fast as I could, yet as slow as I could to avoid been detected.

Just at the junction, my eyes caught a some group of boys stopping an Okada man who had boarded a lady. Omo! There was fear in that woman's voice, i can't forget it...I heard her pleading and I think trying to tell them she's going to work. I just kept walking until I took a turn to a more Christian area. see speed!!! I reached school and told my class mates say I see them dey fight for town. Aunty entered and said we should raise our hands and close eyes.. It would seem the news never breaks say town don scatter. Aunty went out and came back in, we were still making noise. Some of them said "aunty kkins say ther are fighting".
"Mbgo, kkins is it true".. Aunty went straight to head master.

I had to follow that same bloody road again.. Luckily I met my uncle on the way coming to pick us.. we got of the main road and had took a short cut, this shot cut was the bridge between hausas and Christians. we were walking as fast we could, when people who were outside their gates with thier phones started shouting "they don dey come".. OMO!! See japa!!! my uncle wey carry my sibling, couldn't run fast, my guy just jump go one eroded dry gutter. I done blast off!!!! Oh boy!!!!
That was one of the bloodiest crisis kaduna faced. After some months, when activities picked up, come see piles of burnt tire for road!!!!!!! Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Southerners open your fvking eyes.. Kaduna is second to only jos!! If kaduna Christians are in crisis, what do we say about jos? Hmmmm.. The woke southerners no know anything apart from Worshipping celebraties.. The North is tasty for power, and they are getting the idea that that power is much easier to obtain than they thought..
