Nigerians would pay more for drinks as the FG implements a N10 per litre sugar tax.
The Federal Government has started implementing the N10 per litre sugar tax on fizzy drinks and beverages in an effort to fight non-communicable diseases.

At a Policy Breakfast meeting last week in Abuja, Chief Superintendent of Customs, Department of Excise, Free Trade Zone, and Industrial Incentives Dennis Ituma announced this.
