i have been hearing that committing suicide is an instant straight to hell. Many suffers from mental illiness and will commit suicide. Some commit suicide to escape Justice on earth.Are they going straight to hell?
Is this a doctrine of men or is this from the words of God in the Holy Bible? Where is it in the bible that committing sucide is a first class ticket to the gates of Hell.

1. Only those who are born-again can end up in Hell after Jesus Christ returns. You see, there is currently no one in Hell today since Jesus Christ has yet to return and judged anyone of His sheep, and goats - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46.

2. What you have there is a doctrine of men, and not of God. You will in fact not find about 99.9 % of what you hear from your pulpits in scripture, this since all of your pastors and mogs are in fact the false teachers and prophets Jesus Christ warned you to steer clear of.

What about those with mental illiness or those who are frustated with life? I am sure you heard on the news that someone jumped from 3rd mainland bridge, only some were to be rescued by good samaritans.

My own belief on the subject of suicide. Life is hard and some are not strong mentallly. Some cannot handle life and will commit suicide unfortunately. Suicide is not from God, I do believe that only God can judge and will judge according, so i do not think all suicide is a ticket to hell. But i maybe wrong and I maybe right, only God knows. I know the Almight is a God of justice and mercy. I hope those who are suicidal will find help and pray for those who are depressed

Hence the truth of the statement we say in Nigeria which is "who the gods want to destroy, they first make mad".

Which is actually in recognition of what God does to people just before they are destroyed, therefore the True statement is "Whom The Lord has appointed for destruction, first gets mad"!

An unbeliever is not born-again and so has no access to either Heaven or Hell no matter how they die.

I myself used to be one of those mentally handicapped people for whom suicide was a daily battle. Was that way from the age of seven and was so until only about 5 years ago when I first came to find the true God, as in He showed up in my life then.

God's judgment in Jesus Christ is slated to take place for those who belong to the Kingdom of God - those who are born-again -, and not for those who don't even believe in God nor have an idea or clue who He is. Sadly, many lies out there blind and keep many from experiencing God until it is too late. But that does not in any way alter God's Truth and Law.
