have you guys ever noticed a lot of phrases sprung from youths on the street/neighborhoods and they spread around the country rapidly? I don't think any known media figure sprung words that 9ja's use today even that swagga word.

Am shock when people use such dirty names to form a website domain. What a waste and when you visit such website, they are filled with rubbish. Naija denote evil, shame and slavery. Nigerians stop pretending and be proud of your country - NIGERIA like the Americans do and stop using naija or 9ja it sucks.

Ariyo AKINSOLA first used the 9ja word in year 2003, then an undergraduate student at the Federal University of Technology Akure. It is possible that he Could have been the first person for that but Naija had been for long.

The Word 'Naija' or iginated from 2 greek words 'Nai' and 'manja' which means a 'cloned' and 'leadership'. Due to its odd meaning, most people prefer to use the words as naija to connote the emergence of randy rulership in the black race African continent . . . (Contact me if you want details) cheesy grin grin
