Controversials Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has come out to openly announce that he would soon be making some disclosures on the recent happenings which had occured in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The governor, in a statement which had been vetted by his Special Assistant, Media, Kelvin Ebiri, revealed that it has become pertinent for him to speak and reveal to Nigerians all that has transpired in the PDP since the emergence of former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the Presidential candidate of the party.

“On Atiku, I will speak soon and Nigerians will know the actual truth of all that has transpired in the PDP in recent times.

Atiku, had in an interview on Arise TV on Friday, said he chose who he felt could deliver among the nominees that were presented to him. He added that Wike was not rejected and that he only picked who could deliver.

Atiku said, “I didn’t reject Wike, I picked who can deliver. Wike is brilliant and tenacious. Going by history, I picked an Igbo as running mate in 2007, in 2019. I still picked an Igbo as running mate for 2023.

“The committee that presented the three nominees was chaired by the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom. They recommended three people, so I picked one. People should be fair to me and state the facts.”

In another report Nyesom Wike had fingered the state’s former governor Chibuike Amaechi and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Rivers governorship candidate, Tonye Cole, as individuals who have been clearly identified to have allegedly looted and are still looting from the state’s resources.

Governor Nyesom Wike had made this claim on Thursday shortly after he completed the signing the contract for the construction of the eleventh and twelfth flyover bridges and the dualisation of Azikiwe Street-Iloabuchi Road in Port Harcourt between the state government and Julius Berger Nigeria PLC at Government House, Port Harcourt.

He had clearly reiterated that the former minster, Amaechi and Cole would face trial even if the pair brought 500 Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs).

Wike is not a political new comer. he dare not

Atiku cannot pacify Nwike as it stands and he cannot survive it. The betrayal by Tambuwa whom he spent heavily supporting him in 2019 is the lesson Wike can never forget in a hurry. It is obvious that Tambuwa and Atiku had planned to deceptively edge out others because of Fulani agenda. But now, it is obviously clear that they cannot survive the act.

From how carelessly Atiku speaks on the matter. It will only take a person with huge sense of self control to hold back from speaking.

According to what we initially heard a committee whih was headed my Gov. Ortom was set up by Atiku to "PICK" for him a Vice in which 14 people voted Wike but he went ahead to pick Okowa.

Atiku never for once rebuked that statement only for him to come out Friday on ARISE news saying they gave him three names and he picked one. Reuben Abbati had to ask bluntly if Ortom has been lying to Nigeria for saying that.

To me the Gov. Wike we know has really tried his best to hold back actions after being ill treated by Atiku, the south south govs. and the PDP party in general.

If he wants to spill his guts out its only fair people hear his views on the matter.
