SUPPRESSING THE TRUTH? National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) in collaboration with Imo state government shuts down OSIZA FM Owerri, Imo State, for reporting the Awo Omamma massacre. Recall that the radio station invited and interviewed the groom, Mr Okezuonu Chijioke Nnanna, who the slaughtered Otulu Youths accompanied to Awo-Omamma for his marriage rites. Mr Chijioke narrated how everything happened on air. It is being alleged that the government of Imo State is uncomfortable with the expository statements of the young man during the interview, that was conducted by popular Owerri-based broadcaster, Theodore Chinonso Uba (Nonsokwa) Osiza FM is owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri. 1 Like
