After weeks of rumours linking the Portuguese with Barcelona, 'L'Equipe' now reports that Mendes has also offered his client to Real Madrid.

Currently, there has been no movement from either club in regards to this. 'Los Cules' have been focusing their recent attention on closing a deal with Sevilla for Jules Kounde. The Frenchman's transfer has been made official and is now pending the completion of his medical and the signing of his contract.

In terms of where the club from the capital stand, they are not planning on signing another player during this window. This is no secret. Carlo Ancelotti, head coach, openly admitted during a press conference on their tour of the US that his squad is complete and preparing to kick off the new campaigin at 100%.
