ISSAC:
1) Jesus' birth was foretold by an Angel to Mary his mother, just like Isaac's birth was foretold by an Angel to Sarah.

2)Through Isaac came the generation of the Israelites. through Jesus', the generation of christians.

MOSES:
3) When MOSES was born, the king (pharaoh) in Egypt was slaughtering all new born male children. When Jesus' was born the king (Herod) slaughtered all young male children under 2 years in an attempt to kill him. He was saved by his parents taking him to...you guessed it... EGYPT!

4) John the Baptist (his cousin) was Jesus' forerunner bearing witness of him before his ministry started. Aaron (MOSES' brother) was the spokesman of MOSES to pharaoh and the Israelites.

5) MOSES gave laws from God. Jesus came to fulfill the Laws from God. Through the laws of MOSES, Israelites accessed God. Through Jesus', christians access God (I am the Truth, the Way, and the Life).

ELIJAH:
6) GOD gave witness of Elijah by sending fire from heaven to burn the offering meat. God bore witness of Jesus by sending fire in the form of light to grace Jesus' baptism.

7) Elijah was spirited up to heaven by God's chariots of fire at the end of his ministry. Jesus ascended into the clouds and to heaven at the end of his ministry.

Elijah performed many similar miracles. Raised the dead, multiplied jars of oil just like Jesus' turning jars of water to wine. Elijah made floor to continuously replenish and not finish no matter how it is used. Jesus fed 5000 with just a few loaves and fish...

9) Elijah sojurned in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights. Jesus was also in the wilderness for the same 40 days and 40 nights.
