Yes Peter Obi chances increase because masses prefer him to Tinubu

I believe if it were to be Osinbajo, it would have been a work over in favour of the opposition, bacause most of the northern politicians lending their support for Tinubu right now, would have all pitched their tent to support Atiku. By now Atiku would have been jubilating.. As we all saw the body language during the APC presidential primary, they all induced the delegates monetarily but Tinubu was preferred the most by the political gladiators of the party...
However, Osinbajo is not just marketable compared to Obi because of the way he and his master drove Nigeria into this present state, coupled with the fact that he was the person who has head the Economic forum for more than 7 years with nothing to show for it..

Tinubu is depending on his governor friends to deliver north for him, forgetting Atiku is from the north.

Mind you, an aspirant doesn't need core north to win election.
A firm grip of the southern region and majority win in middle belt will secure the seatnfor a southern presidential aspirant. This was how Obasanjo and Goodluck defeated strong northern candidates to become President.

Now we have Tinubu who will fail in south-south and southeast, will win the southwest but not with a significant margin as hoped for.
Now he will divide both NW and NE with Atiku. Then his fate lies in the middle belt.
Christian dominated states in North Central won't vote Tinubu- Benue, taraba and plateau. Besides, they are strong PDP stronghold. Nasarawa and Adamawa will also go for Atiku. Niger is 50:50. Tinubu is now left with kogi and kwara.
Whoever wins the middle belt region wins the election in 2023, that region will decide the winner.

Osinbajo would have swept the whole southern region and win most states in North Central incl southern Kaduna, that's all that counts as a southern candidate. Core north is not as relevent as u guys think. Yet APC fielded an unpopular candidate in the South to vie against a northerner.

Next yr election is for Atiku to lose, he doesn't even need to campaign. His opponents are doing that for him already.
If Tinubu wins next year election, it will the biggest miracle of the 21st century.

@the bolded, you should enroll in yaba left school of politics.

You clearly don’t know what you are saying.

And you think they are not working for Atiku now?

I thought I was discussing with an enlightened mind. I didn't know it's another gutter bred uncouth mouth.
To even consider that u are Yoruba girl is appalling. I'm sure u are well trained, u just chose to be mannerless and tactless.

Next time watch out u discuss with people in public, that it's faceless doesn't make it less courteous.
I'm sure u won't address me like above if we meet in public.

Tinubu has really destroyed the moral fibre of the Yoruba race, the graduates from his agbero school of politics are nothing to write home about.

Truth be told, I was expecting Osibanjo to clinch the ticket. But when he couldn't i have to switch my support to Peter Obi.

Your Opinion would have been a master-piece if Nigeria had been voting base on merit. The reason why Buhari is loved in the north is because he is a tribal and religious bigot.
Osinbajo would have loss the NW and NE massively to Kwankwaso and Atiku. Only few northerners will leave a Muslim and vote for a Pastor. Tinubu has already proven that he is a religious bigot like Buhari with a muslim- muslin ticket hence I see him winning some states in NW and NE.
Osinbajo would have also loss the SE/ SS to Atiku and Peter Obi. PDP is the party to beat in the two regions while Obi is a popular son of the soil. Hence like Tinubu, Osinbajo cannot win any state in the two regions for APC.
He can only win SW and NC for APC which will not be enough to win the presidency. Tinubu can win the NW for APC by retaining Buhari's bigotry structure . He can give Atiku a big fight in the NE while retaining the SW. Hence he stands a better chance than osinbajo due to the bigotry nature of our politics.

Honestly if osibanjo got the ticket, maybe i would have been saying anybody but Atiku.

But the south cant gamble with Tinubu.
