How To Prevent The Stones In Your Engagement Ring From Falling Off by Jewelryessence(f): 3:30pm On Aug 02, 2022
There are only three reasons why the stones on some rings fall off in a short time

Security: The first is that some stone settings are typically more secure than others. They are known to be a much safe choice to guard your stones while the technicality of some settings are not so safe. For instance the Invisible setting doesn’t have metals matching the level of the stones to serve as a form of holder and isn’t known to be a secure setting. But settings like the Bezel and the Illusion are known to last longer.

Poor finishing: Sometimes it’s not about the Setting, but the Setter. If the arrangement was done poorly and with the wrong materials, you can’t expect an excellent result.

User: This is where maintenance comes in. Although quality jewellery is made to stand the test of time, this doesn’t warrant putting on your ring as you do tasks that will put much pressure or heavy impact on it. Aside from breaking the stone, or removing it, you can also scratch the metal and you don’t want your precious engagement ring looking like it’s having a bad hair day‍♀️. Take good care of your rings

I hope this post helps you as you shop for rings in the future.
