Dream Nigeria Movement, A coalition of Nigerian Patriots at home and in Diaspora has lambasted President Buhari for the purchase of Toyota Prado jeeps worth #1.4 billion naira for his kinsmen in Niger Republic on February 22, 2022, following the confirmation made by the Zainab Ahmed, the Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning.



The Honourable Minister of finance was quoted to have said that "President Buhari has the right to make his own assessment of situations and act on his prerogative as the financial support was based on a request by the Nigerien Government".




Dream Nigeria Movement through its Spokesman, Amb Timothy Nwachukwu LLB, berated President Buhari for the purchase of the vehicles, describing his action as gross irresponsibility, an affront on the Nigerian Nation and an impeachable offence.




The group stated that while lecturers are on strike for over five months over paucity of funds to meet thier demand, The President demostrated his disdain for the educational development of the Nigerian youths by prioritising the empowerment of his kinsmen in Niger Republic.


The group commended Mr. David Hundeyin, An Nigerian born Canada based investigative journalist who made the revelation of the purchase of vehicles for Niger Republic which was hidden from the public domain.



The group reiterated it's earlier call for the National Assembly members to rescue Nigeria from the clumsy hands of Buhari who is bent on destroying every fabric that is left of our nation.



The group further called on the Nigeria Senators to remove the Senate President to pave way for impeachment proceedings to commence against president Buhari as Sen. President Lawan has become a clog on the wheels of the progress of Nigeria.
