Africa.
Located in the Southern part of Nigeria; lying between latitudes 4°32′N and 5°33′N, Akwa Ibom State has amazing road networks and some of the most breathtaking scenarios in West Africa.

The State envelops a rich bizarre of amazing sunset; plain land, multi streamed islands, beautiful vegetations, abundant sea foods as well as an ancient history and some developing tourist resorts in South-South Nigeria.

On road networks, I would love to emphasize that succeeding leaderships in the State have made great efforts toward leaving indelible imprints on our roads. The joy of having to receive visiting tourists into our serene enclave, and then having to ride on these smooth metro roads is unexplainable.

A road trip from the airport enroute to the breathtaking ambience of Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort leaves you agape in awe. The easiness of the journey would leave you desire a slow drive. The roads are indeed caressing rollers with zero hiccups.

Again, a road trip from any part of Uyo city to the Cashew Beach is superlatively smooth. The Cashew beach in Iko, and its beautifully dotted havens remain a multibillion dollar unexplored tourist attraction repertoire in Akwa Ibom State. The road stretches straight down to the river bank.

Back to the city, the newly constructed ring roads are amazing addition- shifting our good roads score percentage index to 70.
