Ever had a funny experience with the host of a program over TP FARE & LOGISTICS?

Sometime in June, I got a call from this minister.
He had earlier collected my number in a program where I featured in.

“I'm specially inviting you to come minister at my program. I'll be glad to have you there.”

After giving me the full details, I asked, “Man of God, please are there plans for my TP fare? The venue is quite a long distance from my home.”

“Don't worry sir, I'll take care of your TP & Logistics. Just come & bless the people for me.” He assured.

The day came. I arrived the venue, ministered alongside others & set the atmosphere on a BEANS FREQUENCY.

At the end of the program, he walked up to me.

“MOG sir. That was powerful. Wow!”

He squeezed in an envelop into my right hand & said, “This is too small oh, but please manage it.”

(It is my principle not to check [or count] the honorarium package in your presence if given to me. I'd rather check it on my way.)

So I quickly deposited the envelop in my inner jacket pocket, thanked him & boarded a cab.

I was highly optimistic that what our MOG gave me would cover my “TP fare & Logistics” as he promised, even if he said it was too small.
Na the normal talk be that.

Just as the cab started moving, I harvested the envelop from my pocket, opened it & found three ₦50 naira notes that weren't looking healthy.
As in 1, 2, 3 = ₦150

I didn't know where a loud laugh with a touch of tears bursted out from, but boy, it was maaaad.

I wasn't even angry that he gave me ₦150.

I was angry because in his village, ₦150 could cover someone's “TP fare & Logistics.” Omor!

E for better say you no give me anything at all, honestly.
Especially after the assurance.

Coincidentally, I had a nightmare in my sleep same night

Sometime last week, the same MOG called me, inviting me for a program to minister in.

He told me he'll settle my “TP fare & Logistics.”
Sounds familiar. Right?

I assured him that I'll be there. He thanked me & ended the call.

On the day of the program, exactly 1 hour to the time, I sent him an SMS;

“Good evening MOG sir. I'm so sorry, I don't think I can make it to the program. I'm on my PERIOD. It came earlier than expected.”

I felt fulfilled!
