HON. (PRINCE) BOYE OLOGBESE SEEKS COLLABORATION OF RELEVANT AGENCIES, MINISTRIES TO MARKET ONDO PORT POTENTIALS GLOBALLY.

In the quest towards realizing the goals of the oluwarotimi akeredolu led administration of a sustainable and functional port in Ondo State, The Commissioner for Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations HON. (PRINCE) BOYE OLOGBESE paid another official visit to the Ondo state development and investment promotion agency ONDIPA.


Honourable Boye Ologbese and his team were received by the acting CEO of ONDIPA Engineer Akarakiri in company of the director of investment Dr. Richard Alonge, Legal Adviser Mrs Aladedutire Damilola and Mr. Awu in Akure the Ondo State capital.


Hon. Ologbese who led the team of officials from RIDR which includes Director Finance & Admin, Mrs Ebiseni Margaret Oladele, deputy Director Mrs Olabode Omowumi Omolayo; Permanent secretary Mr. Omooba and the Personal assistant to RIDR honorable commissioner Prince Boye, Mr. T. S. Agbeleye said that his drive for the Ondo state port is due to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN 's passion for the development of Ondo State through investment policies created to make Ondo State an industrial hub.


Prince Boye reiterated That ONDIPA as the major ministry in charge of investments in Ondo state needs to look into the marketing potentials of the ondo port and other mineral resources in the sunshine state.


He thereby stressed the need for synergy between relevant ministries to hold a business submit which can attract investors from both national and international level; as Ondo state people in Diaspora are also looking for viable project to invest.


According to Hon. Ologbese, " Ondo port is a golden egg that can not be hidden from the global market and the potentials of the port can turn around the economy of Africa and can change the face of Ondo State.


The acting CEO of Ondo state development and investment promotion agency ONDIPA Engineer Akarakiri who welcome the commissioner and his team said there is no doubt that the Ondo port will change the economic face of ondo state.


Engineer Akarakiri who expressed his satisfaction in the marketing potential of Ondo port says the state government is still waiting for the federal government's approval once that is done. Ondo port will pilot the investment drive in Africa.


It would be recalled that hon. Boye Ologbese recently paid a courtesy visit to the commissioner for the ministry of energy, mines and mineral resources hon Razak Obe seeking synergy for both ministers to work towards achieving this goal.
