Yes, by 1999 Atiku had not started his quarrel with Obasanjo. He was a super VP by 1999 when the sharia states urinated on Nigeria's Constitution by adopting Islamic sharia criminal justice system.
He could have stopped the spread of sharia brought by Ahmed Sani Yerima, the then governor of Zamfara state.
But Atiku did nothing to stop the spread of use of sharia criminal justice system in the 12 northern states.

It always look impossible until it is done .

No one can deny Peter Obi popularity amongst the youth and how far he has gone since the obIdient movement started.

The only issue I’ve is that his supporters behave like fanatics but I might be wrong . Maybe they are just angry and bitter because of the state of the nation.

2023 will be an interesting year thou
1. They said you can’t win uefa champions league back to back in the modern era, Madrid did a consecutive hat trick.
2. Political professors and critics said trump was just clowning about and can’t win. He did it against every single betting odd.
3. They said the man contesting with apga( a virtually unknown party with zero ‘structure’) was just wasting money and time..he won and ever since apga has retained the leadership in anambra.

I like when armchair critics say “it can’t be done”…just another opportunity to prove to them all that anything under the sun is possible!
