Why is it that the FG keeps insisting that there is no money to meet ASUU's demand in order to end the ongoing strike, but these guys claim to be spending 18.3 billion naira on daily basis.

Isn't this ironical?

Its weird the who society runs on government paying for everything. Its a self inflected burden the Federal Government gave itself. Lol they could just as easily cast the yoke off their necks give it to the people cheerleader ASUU. We will keep taxes and subsidies the same while you pay the difference in terms of tuition in fees at the various institutions.

Nobody wants to answer how do you want to fund ASUU financial demands. You're allowed any mix of borrowing, cuts, tax increases or tuition increases as long it adds up to 1 trillion naira they demanded.

I would propose that these universities run as autonomous bodies...make they money, use it to run the school and pay the lecturers...after all they are making alot and the school fees these days is very high...so let them take responsibility...and stop stealing and crying to the government and misleading Nigerians claiming the victim

All of you nigerians are fools and zombies. When you research and know how feudalism works, you will understand why the fulanis are hell-bent on destroying education in your dungeon. The naivety, daftness, and dumbness of an average nigerian is annoying. Feudalism strives where there is little to no education with extreme poverty.

The numerous ASSU strike which started from the Babangida regime was designed by the caliphate to render all of you uneducated and poor and they have been succeeding. They need you to be absolute illiterate and poor for the caliphate to be able to control you, so they designed artificial illiteracy and poverty which have weakened you all and made you become subservient to the fulani caliphate.

Only the Biafrans are proving a hard nut to crack for the caliphate and that's why they are in constant strife with the South Easterners. We can't allow those slow poke terrorists from the desert of futa jalon to decide anything for us. Biafra must be restored and that is very soon.

Nothing ironical.

The subsidy is so that all Nigerians can have cheaper fuel including ASUU.

Or you think Nigerian lecturers want to earn less than a million naira monthly and still pay N1200 to N1600 per litre of fuel?

Until we can locally refine our petroleum needs, subsidy is going nowhere.

Even Buhari wanted to remove it, but he realised he is playing with fire and ire of the already frustrated masses.

You just cited one University, how about others?
Anyway, what measures has FG set to ascertain accountability on the side of the universities?

I know what the subsidy represents, but do you really think the amount quoted that is been spent on daily basis is real?
