I don't know your location, and as an experience and well versatile person, that's the advice I can give you because if I mention a brand name, you might not find it.

can that souer inverter automatically switch from battery to Nepa if power is restored & switch to inverter mode if Nepa sieze power? Yes and No, depends on the size

Just a heads up and an advice to whoever is patronizing this guys on Nairaland.

I advise that you first confirm if the product (s) they use for your installations comes with at least 1 year warranty!

This is because this installation they did for me in late October last year (started using it in November) packed up in April, in less than 6 months.

There are other durable brands like Fullriver and Quanta Amarin but they won't tell you this.

I took all precautions to ensure my inverter serves me for a long time, I never used it when it's beeping, not even once. I never powered anything else with it asides from my work laptop and phone.
Don't think I used it carelessly. Infact I was very cautious with it cos my job is important to me.

When it packed up in April, I informed them and he lied to me that high current damaged my inverter, that I need to get an external battery charger to be able to continue charging the battery. I wasn't sure they were telling the truth cos there was no high current situation in my area during the time the inverter stopped working, infact it was fully charged few days before, so I called an electrician who checked all the connections and couldn't trace any reason why the battery wouldn't charge, the electrician then called a solar guy in my area that installs solar and inverters, the guy came and checked and told me my battery has packed up (as in dead). I was confused cos how?

I had to call these guys in their presence and inform them, they still lied that it's not true that once I buy the external charger I'd confirm it.

So I bought the external charger, but no matter how much I charge the battery, the moment I have to use it, it won't last beyond 2 hours and then starts beeping.

I informed them again, and this time he lied again that the external battery charger is the cause, that the capacity is lower than the battery. Meanwhile they recommended that I buy exactly that product and that capacity.

This is when I knew something was not right, then I posted on Nairaland for a second opinion from what the previous solar guy had earlier told me about the battery packing up and for experts to take a look and advise. All this long story is to warn others. Insist that they use original products that comes with warranty no matter the package you're going for.

It's just sheer luck if anyone has been using these same products from them and it hasn't packed up. Cos I did everything right trust me!

The way they kept lying all through confirms that they actually know that they install fake inverters and batteries. There was no apology, no remedy. Instead they just kept bragging how others have been using it and has not complained, and sending me price list of their lithium batteries so I'll see how expensive it is, and mocking the price range I went for. Please how does that help my situation or change the fact that you used fake Chinese battery and inverter for my installation? If I knew about battery and inverter products I'd have made a better choice.

That was my one month salary that I sacrificed. I guess they can pick that money on the streets that's why it's easy for them to mock the price range I went for.

Please insists on products with at least 1 year warranty no matter the price range you're going for. That way you can insist they replace it if it packs up like mine under 6 months ✌️
