Pardon me I won't be able to write much, hence I would jump into full details..

I'm trying to save an intelligent, amazing but malnourished GSD which belongs to my neighbour. Things have been good with this my neighbor I shouldn't say other wise. I love dogs but can't afford to raise one now since me self just marry and we still dey try balance things up. If I go out I get reminants from eateries may be twice a week for the dog (yes I know, the spices and seasoning aint good for the breed but then it's better than dieing of hunger). The Dog is now lean, can't even step down without falling but still full of life.

The owner had may be completely abandoned the dog as the dog hardly see food to eat. I was forced the give the dog remaining akara balls this morning honestly. I need help with, advise, dog food, vet advise if any etc. I know things ain't easy right now but if you are in capacity to help, Please do let me know.

Note!!! Nothing is wrong with the dog, he practically just needs food. I have completely removed his chain and neck buckle to give room for more freedom.

Since you're not the owner of the dog and he may be unwilling to give it up for adoption.
The best I can advice is, look for a vet around your area, buy dog noodles(way cheaper than dog food), if there is a big frozen food store in your area where they sell fish and chicken, buy fish heads and chicken bum bum or legs from them (also cheap).
You can then boil the fish head and use it to feed him or you mix it with the dog noodles. The chicken bum bum you can dice it inside the noodles for him.
Using noodles and the other things I mentioed above, with 7-10k you can feed the dog adequately every month.

I wish I could adopt him but there's no space for that at the moment.

Thanks chief. My thoughts with the fish head but the last dude I asked said he sold it off already.. so I told him to keep some against Tuesday. I know it's gonna cost me much. But I will try my best.

Apologies for the late response. We got a vet, gave some drips, got food and gave the dog some freedom. He is fine and good now.
