I followed Leon Edward going into this fight and I knew the possibility of pulling of a trick is at 60%. Dude has had consecutive wins on his belt with tremendous improvements since he last fought Usman. He has improved on his take down defence and wrestling which he never had before. He had tidied up his weakness going into this fight, all that increased his confidence all round, his fight IQ is also very high.
Personally, he doesn't like the fact that people rate Usman No1 pound for pound fighter even ahead of Jon Jones. He also really hate the fact that strong as he is, he was easily written off. In his words, " if I beat Usman, I hope people won't make an excuse for him, hope they would keep same energy". This was strong self believe I had thought AJ would go into his fight with but unfortunately he was rather a motivational speaker than a man prepared to win. Usman would definitely bounce back, dude's self confidence is top high and soon would regain his belt.
