"good day ma'am" greeted y/n
"ah hello, you must be y/n" said mrs Grose in a not so questioning tone
"yes I'm here for the job of a maid. You must be mrs Grose?"
"yes. Come along"

mrs Grose showed y/n around the house, it was really big kinda like a castle.

y/n's just a young girl in her teens looking for a means to make a living so she takes up a job as a maid for a rich couple with two children- a boy and a girl.
The parents are barely around, it's like they barely exist. The children are taken care of by sweet old mrs Grose, but she's...well old and she requires assistance and that's where y/n comes in.......

"this will be your room" mrs Grose says
"oh wow it's beautiful , thank you" y/n says obviously amazed by it's beauty and lustrious sight
"hm. Dinner's at seven, do ensure to be early. You'll meet her" mrs Grose says leaving
"who's he-" y/n turns to realize she's gone "wierd" she comments
'this room is really beautiful and way bigger than the one I have back at home' she thinks to herself 'get a grip on yourself. Dinner's at 7 so you still have a few more minutes, unpack and do whatever'

In a few minutes she finishs unpacking,takes a bath and changes into something comfy(a just above the knee shorts and a really big shirt)

After a while of staying in her room she becomes thirsty
"mrs Grose" she calls out but gets no answer "finding a kitchen in a strange house was so not on my to do list" she sighs

she walked around the house for a while until she found the kitchen...

Y/n opened the fridge to get some water...then she hears it......footsteps. She gasps.

"who's there?" she asks obviously scared.She hears it again. "wh-who's th-th-there?" it stopped.It was gone,like it was never there.
She sprints,trying to get to her room as fast as possible.She gasps.She just bumped into mrs Grose
"oh my word" exclaimed mrs Grose
"oh I'm so sorry"y/n apologises
"do watch where you're going" says mrs Grose
"I'm so sorry"another apology
"dinner's at the table"mrs Grose informs
"but it's not yet seven..."y/n states.mrs Grose stares at her with an expressionless face"...but an early dinner would be nice"y/n says with a not so convincing smile.
