Job Title: Training and Development Lead Location: Ikeja Lagos Job Type: Full Time Job Summary: We are seeking a driven, creative and strategic thinking Training and Development Lead to join our dynamic team in developing, facilitating and supervising training programs for our clients and employees. Job Responsibilities: - Develop strong relationships with current and prospective clients to gather a deep understanding of their training needs. - Develop training strategies to grow the company’s presence. - Expanding our business development leads to bring onboard corporate and government clients. - Register the company with various professional bodies in the training space - Develop and maintain a high-performing training team. - Develop a training calendar that consists of topics across industries. - Develop customized training programs that address client specific business needs. - Source for facilitators, (both internal and external) adept in their field to develop and deliver effective training. - Work with the HR Manager to assess the company’s employees’ skills, performance and productivity to identify areas needing improvement. - Submit reports on concluded training. - Work cross-functionally with other internal business leaders to design training programs and marketing materials. - Keep up-to-date with latest trends, developments and best practices in the training and development space. - Develop and manage a profit-oriented training and workshop budget. Key Requirements: - A good degree in a related course of study. - 5 – 10 years’ work experience with a minimum of 5 years Training and Development experience. - Excellent track record in developing and executing successful training programs. - Must have a successful track record of leading teams, driving organizational transformation and building new capabilities. - Excellent knowledge of various training and teaching methods. - Ability to constantly implement progressive strategies in the training structure. - Solid experience working strategically and operationally with cross-functional organizational leaders to develop training strategy and initiatives. - Proof of access to a wide array of training facilitators and consultants in various occupational fields. - Strategic and innovative thinker with excellent problem solving skills with the ability to adapt to an ever changing market. - Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success. - Ability to work with data driven insights on training trends, topics, industries, and markets. - Desire to solve problems, think creatively, - Excellent verbal & written communications skills.
