growing up i was rejected by some people because of my stubbornness and weird character of mocking everything,a bully i must say..

soo due to the rejection i had to learn how to stay on ma lane and as time goes it became part of me even tho I drop that stubborn and mocking character..

people always say am cool and a nice guy and some do love to associate with me but due to the introvert mindset am now even uncomfortable to welcome people sometimes or visting someone.i hardly visit and if i do I don't stay more than 5-10 mins..

it has also affected my social media life..
my active status both facebook and whatsapp is off(ghost mode) but am online almost everytime..

sometimes when my phone rings or i see a message notification from a friend in whatsapp or Facebook
i will be like "what does this one want" and sometimes I end up having a less convos with the person..

even my colleague today asked me why i don't come online or call but I had to beat around the bush to tell her am not interested in online conversation...

i believe my own is crazy so tell me yours?

also am ready for advice since my senior sister told me that is time i start being open minded to life outside home..

More of an introvert than extrovert. I'd say 65 to 35

By nature, I am not an introvert. Nigerians made me become one. Because people can't be trusted I have to stay on my lane.

I am 80% introverted.

I haven't left my house in weeks except for important things and then it's back home.
No one in my street expect the women in the shop in front have ever heard my voice.
I watch calls ring until they stop
I'm completely socially inept and if ever forced to socialise I become a completely different person and make certain blunders.
I want friends but I want them to stay the fvck away from me.
The idea of a house in the woods or on a mountain fascinates me. My best friend and I speak once a month at most.

I'm 75% introverted.
The remaining 25% extrovertness is for the inevitables i.e work, school,colleagues and neighbours.

People interpretes it as pride though-even family and familials at times.
I'm not concerned about that though.
As far as my virtues are maintained, i'm not bothered.

And the day i become financially independent, my introvertness will rise to 85%.

I am 100% introverted.
Yes, I can do without communicating with anyone both online and offline for a month plus. I prefer to stay alone in my house than attend any social function. I spend days without recieving or giving out calls. I hardly trust anybody not even myself so people can't hurt me.

I am also 100% extroverted.
I have numerous girlfriends that I am not even aware of their numbers. I can choose to hang out with my guys and I am a great conversationalist.

In summary, I am fluid like mercury and I can take any form I so desire.

90% introverted
Most times I know what one thinks about me by their looks or little action.
I'm can stay up to a year without any form.of communication with anyone.
Worst of all is I suck at networking,yet, a genius than those who get more gigs than me

You’re really similar to me,I’m an introvert and enjoy my space,love the indoors,love music and I talk to myself a lot to the point where I think I’m even inventing my own language but ayy it’s the best thing ever cause I know I’m comfortable being by myself and don’t need to fit in or make unnecessary acquaintances but this doesn’t necessarily mean I’m a boring person cause when the need arises I know how to hold my own and hold conversations so in the social mixing part “when necessary” I’m not lacking but I prefer my own company,I Do have close friends but mostly people I grew up with and my mates from high school we don’t communicate often but whenever we do the vibes are always the same like the old days,those are still the friendships I hold on to this day,I barely communicate with “friends” from uni cause the friendships are flakey,my socials are all offline haven’t been active on whatsapp since February and just two of my friends have hit me up since then I get a few calls here and there but I don’t pick not because I don’t wanna but I just lack the social energy to communicate sometimes,I’m single haven’t had girlfriend since 2013,didnt even have one in uni but I messed around with a few but life’s great,I’m unapologetically living on my own terms so I guess I got that going for me.

50/50 I must say ..but I love me privacy more than anything .. hate sharing my space .. I prefer less crowd and you only get close to me if I respect your energy as another introvert.. I don’t like extrovert bugging me with their loud ways .. I should to be loud in my own terms and carefully choose when I need to be out there overall I prefer staying indoor glued to my phone and watching movies ..

I come to realize that by virtue of my job, the responsibilities and activities of adulthood and manhood, there is a level you get to in life , then you just cannot remain too introverted. As we get older we mature. Imagine being nominated by your company for a course overseas where the class is interactive and you are scored based on that. Or you are nominated to attend a conference on behalf of your organization. Or you are selected by your organization to go make a presentation on behalf of your CEO to some senators or politicians or other stakeholders. Or that you plan on pursing academics up the graduate level?

You just cannot claim you are introverted and cannot deliver on these things and expectations from being a functional and active human being in this interdependent system that life and living is. You may struggle and eventually realize that you will need to be a little bit outgoing and extroverted to easily achieve these things. That is my personal case that is unique to me. Other people could be going through the same experience.

Life experiences have the ability of turning introverts to extroverts, and vice versa by various degrees.

I will say 80%....I don't go out much.loves lonely places where I can concentrate and write my poems.
Sometimes am grateful being an introvert but sometimes it hurts tho.
For instance I don't talk to people in my area and they now think am just being proud of myself

Same here....I am an ambivert though, some days i could be fully extroverted wanting to go out and explore or an adventure,meet new people, make new friends and somedays i wouldn't even want the sun to touch my skin,snub or gaslight anyone.....

Each and every part of my ambivertness had shown its pros and cons, but what to do just had to balance[

I wasn't born an introvert, in my early years, played well with mates at home and school, I was very good at drama and was well known till my temper starting growing. I beat up my mates at the slightest provocation and got a lot of backlash for it. My temper used to be one of my mums prayer points. I stabbed my babysitter above the eye out of anger and since that day people looked at me weird and parents wouldn't want their kids to play with me. So I became my own company and later started enjoying it so much.
I need to add that I work in retail and it doesn't affect my relationship with client/patients. I'm actually very good at my job. I also noticed being an extreme introvert accords me unmerited great respect from people around me and also a chick magnet. The later baffles me still.
As I grew older my temper issues vanished but solitude became my drug and my peace.
I'm good at banter and sacarsm when I'm out with people but I love staying in doors or hanging out all by myself.
