here is the possible future dilemma: if they eventually divorce, should she get her kidney back?!?!?

IMHO, just like you share everything after divorce (house etc), the kidney will be part of the settlement for the husband. lol
Why are u negative minded?

They have children together. If they diviorce the children will go to either of them for their uokeep. But any man who divorces a woman after taking this life saving step does not deserve to live among humans!

dont you think that paying for all the family upkeep (while wifey stays at home) is also a life saving? dont you think that slaving away for a family is as equal as giving a kidney?

phemmyfour:
If only the kidney will be returned in good condition. Eedris need to change his lifestyle.
Stop drinking and smoking...Dem no go hear.

but if i gave my wife a car during marriage, should i expect the car to be the same when i divorce her?

AngelicBeing:
Hian, you have started again, hahaha, cheesy

it is a valid issue....as we all know that women often get settlements after mariage.

SKIBiNSKI:
Unfortunately those are the realities of life, all you are said are possible in the world of today.
its funny because people always see alimony to a wife as normal...aka for her to keep the lifestyle she was accustomed to and raise children... but if i now say:" for him to keep the kidney to continue living the life he was accustomed to" the same people will now be saying that this aint fair and that the kidney should be returned.

the reality is that many give you a kidney not to "give you life" but "to have YOU for life"

Very true, but no Nigerian man can ever do that.
I would do that. Many people would do it. Both men and women.

In situations like these, it's better to seek external organ donors..Even if it's a paid donation.

They still have young kids.. And now both of them are on a tight health rope walking around with single kidneys sad....

Not a very wise decision in my opinion.. . The death of one parent, however sad it might be, is better than the death of both...

Idris for carry him cross jejely and leave Yetunde to be there for their kids... That's if he couldn't get an external donor.

This is what I call true love. Not the gold digger type asking if she can marry a man earning a 100 thousand naira. Financial Women every where, very shameful!

It's only true love when a woman sacrifices for men, on this forum. It is always shameful when a woman wants money. But Yahoo boys can kill any number of women for money and the women will be called fools here. When will men sacrifice their kidneys and call it love too?

This romance you forum boys want women to have with poverty, to appeal to your states and tastes, is plain unrealistic.

Here's a thread to celebrate a Nigerian lady that donated her kidney to her husband. Sadly, you turned the other way to attack Nigerian ladies, instead of celebrating them.

How about asking how many NIGERIAN MEN would do this?

Finally, someone is bold enough to think differently to the sheep.

The forum is toxic. Everything is twisted round to something against or about women.

It is the selling point of seun. Interest in the site is dwindling. It's just another 4-chan. Maybe the usual scum will eventually overrun the place—and they can't even afford anything in the adverts. They can only spread toxic ideologies.

There's only one perspective here, and it is the one shouted the loudest by guys who are in the lowest economic strata of society. Only poor men hate women so much.

People live a healthy long life with one kidney.
I myself have been living with one kidney for the past 36 years. I don't know, until recently when I have a minor ureter obstruction. I was surprised. They told me that some people live their entire life with one kidney without noticing.

lmao @ ''you self no be deserving person''. You mean someone you would give kidney too and he would damage your kidney with weed,SK,alcohol, womanize and forget someone gave him kidney. After he destroys your kidney,he and his family would now come back to you expecting you to give them the other kidney you're managing?
Off point.

I am not bias, if he has donated his to her I would have commended him too. That is true love, not money, money and money.

But a Nigerian woman just went under the surgical knife to offer her kidney.

Or, offering a kidney does not qualify as "something to offer?"
