The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Campaign Presidential Council has described the supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi as ‘waka pass.
The Director of Strategy and Communication, Dele Alake wondered how many supporters of Obi have the means of voting in 2023.

Alake made this while claiming that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has a better chance than Obi.

He further stated that Obi will trail far behind in the forthcoming presidential election.

Alake added that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party and Tinubu are like night and day.

“Whoever is basing his/her judgement on the effect of social media on the 2023 elections has missed it.

“We are experienced in these matters, we are not just stoking our fire on social media. We are moving out to all strata of society.


“Even among those on social media (Obi’s followers), what percentage of them are going to vote at the end of the day?

“What percentage of them have the means of voting or are registered to vote?

“A large percentage of them are just what the Nollywood people call ‘walk about’ or ‘waka pass.

“They are just either for entertainment effect or curiosity; they are not committed.

“Even those who are committed, a large percentage of them may not be registered.

“Obi will trail far behind. This is not labelling him in any way or denigrating him, these are hard facts.

“They’ve both been governors for eight years. There is no basis for comparison between Obi and Tinubu.

“The difference is clear. It’s like night and day…like fluke and substance. Our candidate is the substance.”

They have no single facts to campaign with, their only campaingn strategy is to provoke, insult, attack, curse all Labour party supporters.

Nigerians are waiting for you at the polls, hate, malice and insults cannot sway us to vote for incompetent old men who has done nothing good in all their private and public lives.

We must all vote for Peter Obi, he is the Nigerian project.

I kind of sense fear and desperation in these statements.

Not a strong fan of Peter obi. But the incessant talk about his supporters being only social media users is becoming alarming.

Seems there is something going on in our political space that the big goons are scared of.

Sincerely, I do hope he wins though cos he looks like the better person among the three.

They've got little or nothing on Obi so they focus on those masquerading as "supporters" that no one can hold accountable for.

At least they are far better than other supporters.
