I visited Ghana for the first time last month and decided to share my journey here.

Before living Nigeria, I got the following ready.

1. International passport (valid for at least 6 months)

2. Yellow fever vaccination card

3. Covid Vaccination card

4. Booked an apartment

5. Booked a flight


This is what I did when I arrived in Ghana.

1. Bought a sim
2. Change currency at the airport (there was a guy there at a sim store who could receive transfer from my bank to his own access bank. he change at 11 Ghana cedis for 1000 naira. aprox 90 naira to a cedi)
2. Used my bolt and uber around town

I didn't get to visit many places since i was there for an appointment and was on a pretty tight budget.
