The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has just extended its six months old strike indefinitely. To drive home their demands.

I'm a Student and I feel bad about what is happening. Nigerians voted apc enmass in 2015 and 2019 but what they didn't bargained for is APC treating their children this way.
Buhari and APC members are less concerned cause non of their children are currently schooling in public schools.

The APC is a demonic party and I call on well meaning Nigerians and parents to come out enmass to vote out this evil party in 2023. We should show apc we can't be taken for a ride.
And for Tinubu, if you can solve Nigeria's issues why ain't you advising Mr President on what to do to end this months long strike.

It is unfair. Very very unfair. The children of the poor needs good education too. If Government refuses to fund education for the children of the poor, the children of the rich will bear the burnt more, this is because this will create more crimes than we can handle.


I call on Me President to do something about this long strike. Don't let it enter next year please.

#EndASUUstrike or we end APC chances at the polls next year.

Education is relevant in Nigeria. Purchasing a certificate is fraud and if caught you face years in jail.

FG already gave ASUU an offer, but they said it's too small. ASUU are greedy too, imagine going to negotiate 180% increase in salary, meaning someone on 200k will jump to 560k and they expect FG to sign it, when other unions are watching closely.

ASUU don't want the salary, they are in this together with the students. Students lose time, ASUU lose money.

well ASUU as it is won't give that up . One person as it is need to bulge n I say let Federal govt bulge. Infact they will certainly be the one too. They can't allow it enter next year.. it will tell on APC chances at the election

That was the mistake ASUU made, that FG would approve 180% increment in salary cos of election. FG won't bulge, as the strike is not affecting them, if not, the strike won't have lasted more than two weeks, so let ASUU stay at home for as long as they want.

If insecurity, bad economy won't have a tangible effect on the outcome of election, then ASUU strike is nothing.

I don't think buhari will want his administration to be handed with the note that under him universities were closed for a year +.besides buhari might not be bother n be for strong headed as you said...but I believe apc members will prevail on him cause they know what they will lose not Buhari.

But majority of the students don't have PVC, APC know how to convince people who have.
Like i said before APC plan to win the election via rigging and bribery.
Someone who hasn't eaten anything good for days won't easily decline 10k and vote against APC cos of ASUU strike.

rigging unfortunately can't work anymore only votebuying. And APC will be foolish those two things will make Dem win elections. Do u think the parents of those students at home will vote APC after keeping them kids at home for long?
