Nigeria is missing from the list of beneficiary countries for the $315 million World Bank fund for African countries to support food security.

Hmmm If they had added Nigeria to that list, our debt will further skyrocket. Besides these funds are loans and not grants. You will have to pay back after some years. 1 Like |

Yet these Western imperialists are always quick to advise us to borrow from them, devalue our currency or adjust our economic policies to suit their whims and caprices. Now food aid come, they comot Nigeria for line.I blame our leaders that always go cap-in-hand to do beggy beggy. Meanwhile, they know the funds may be looted hence our exclusion. Perhaps, they bypassed Nigeria because of the APC govt repeated lies that Nigeria have long attained self sufficiency in food security so tey they have collapsed the Thailand rice pyramids. 2 Likes |
