I asked this question cause I 've seen some people who were once standing for the right things and speaking against evil by trying to defend those who are oppressed in the society, but after some time you see them doing those things they once condemned, is it that they don't have integrity or their conscience have been bought?

it could also be called EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, MATURITY or simply CHANGE OF HEART!

example: many married people are against divorce but after many years of being with a wrong/evil spouse raising their children, they changed their minds and run for their lives.

To some, they were mere pretenders in other to get what they want. Once they get it, their true-self starts manifesting.

To others, what other people have done to them led to the change. It is a self defense mechanism.

Nobody is perfect because perfect gets boring. Morality is grey as opposed to black and white.

As the earth turns, humans on it do too.

They don't have sense.

Even Satan that was in heaven change.

So asking why people on earth change is funny.

But I think they change as their interest changes.

CHANGE is the only constant thing in life, so they say.

In same life, CIRCUMSTANCES just have a way of shaping what we do or how we act. It has a huge influence on our actions and inactions.

Take a look at the Nation we are in, what the present party in government condemned and crusified the past administration for, are now what they do in double fold. A present and relatable case study is the ongoing ASUU STRIKE. Who would have thought same set of people who even asked the past President to resign over same issue and other areas affecting the country, would also victimize the populace with same, now in double fold, should they get there, but unfortunately, it is what it is. It isn't that they wish or wanted it to be so, but CIRCUMSTANCES just had them caught in situations they once condemned.

The fact remain that, we aren't in control of life occurrence, all we can do is just play along while we try our best to maintain our integrity and hope life doesn't put it to TEST, should it's been put to test, it's gonna take God's grace and discipline to still have it intact.
