The Johnsons, the creators of the Africa Magic series, have killed off Emu, a character played by the late Ada Ameh in the series.

On Monday, a two-minute trailer for the new episode was released on social media. The video depicted how each family member was dealing with Emu's death.

Some of the actress's family members were overwhelmed with emotion as they mourned her death.

Ada's on-screen husband, Charles Inojie, who plays Mr. Johnson, has expressed sadness.

In another scene, members of the cast were seen signing a condolence book for the deceased.

During an interview with QEDTV on the night of Ada's tributes at Lagos' Onikan Stadium on Friday, August 19, Charles stated that the show will go on without her, although Ada Ameh will be greatly missed.

Ada Ameh passed away on July 17 in Warri, Delta State. On August 26, she was laid to rest in her hometown of Benue State.

Prior to her death, the actress revealed that she had been suffering from mental illness as a result of the deaths of her loved ones.

She discussed her ordeal with media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown on the Your View TV show, which aired on Friday, July 1.

According to the The Johnsons actress, she had been depressed for years, and her daughter Ladi's death exacerbated her depression because Ladi was her best friend and sister, and her world had crumbled.

The 48-year-old also revealed that she had lost her six siblings before her daughter's death.

Depression resulting from losing loved ones doesn't show facially, it eats you up inside very fast. I can badly relate embarassed

How she kept playing a jovial and funny role doesn't surprise me. Her exterior was sharply conflict with her interior but she managed it all well for the media(public).
Keep resting ma'am cry cry.

Whoa. What a loss. Depression got her then. I always assumed it was health related due to the excess weight she carried.

One thing we should all acknowledge; you came into the world alone. You will die alone. That you have nobody in life doesn’t mean you should give up hope. Your dead relatives will want you to keep pushing since their time on earth expired. Try to the best of your ability to live long.
