People who have not involved themselves in any for of criminality for a certain number of years should be rewarded by the government.
Think how many lives and properties worth billions that have been lost to bandits, terrorists and unknown gun men. Think about how much government have spent on arming our security agents just to fight off this few bad eggs in our society.
Going to jail is not a replacement for things they destroy and we all pay in one way or the other for the damages they do.
So, I think there should be a form of incentives that should be given to any citizen with clean sheet after some years.

Which government? A government that cannot even provide electricity, good roads to its people? A government that cannot afford to secure the life of its citizens? Worse still, a government that's still looking to milk its citizens dry.

As appealing as it may sound, I don't think such incentives will have a significant impact on the crime rare. Normally, you get paid for doing your job, and you get incentives for going the extra mile. Not committing a crime is not an "extra mile". It should be the normal state of things. Giving people incentives for not committing any crime is tantamount to accepting committing crime as the "normal". In other words, people should be given incentives when they go out of thier way to fulfill a social obligation like helping the elderly, etc. But you don't get paid for not stealing, raping or even killing someone. That should be the default state. We are not animals, we don't need treats to behave.

Jayden001 only way this country can get better if this country is split up. That way you can't have herdsmen from the North causing problems in the South. Or certain people from the South pushing drugs to the north. Heck we didn't even have kidnapping in the North up until the last decade.

These and more have cost our government a lot of money, so we that have not caused any loss to our government should be rewarded
