Former Vice President and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) , Atiku Abubakar on Thursday sent a message of strength and prayer to Queen Elizabeth II.

The Queen has been put under medical supervision after doctors expressed concerns for her health.

“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral,” a royal spokesman said on Thursday.

Her immediate family members, according to the spokesman, have been notified and are traveling to see the 96-year-old monarch.

Atiku in a message of strength to the Queen and her family said: My thoughts and prayers are with Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II and her family. May God’s presence be with them at this time
