Stop allowing men to deceive you with what are lies about Heaven and Hell. Jesus Christ made it clear that no one will be sent back from the dead to warn the living, and no one will be granted entry into Heaven or Hell until after Jesus Christ returns, so where these people claim to go when they die isn't of Truth. undecided

But Jesus came from heaven to convert Saul to Paul. Also phenomenon of after life has been confirmed by mordern science. Evidences were given by non believer top doctors and scientist. In that post that man was a non-believer top pilot in us. Are you say telling lies about hevean experience is more lurative than a career in aviation and medicine in US? Please let us add knowledge to faith.

Jesus Christ appeared to Paul, according to the story. He didn't return from heaven like those who claim to have returned from the dead to warn you of the other side. undecided

2. As for the claim that life after death has been confirmed, well, most of the stories claimed do not conform that revealed in scripture in any way or form. For instance, according to scripture, those who die as unbelievers cease to exist in their graves, whereas those who were born-again in this life, sleep in their graves after their death. So? undecided

3. Careers can be built on delusions/lies. Your many pastors and mogs more than revealed that one can amass wealth even by that, without needing to task oneself in this life. undecided

4. The knowledge you need is that which is written so you can spot the lies wherever they may lie. undecided

You
Argument of people building pastoral career on lies is not similar to unbelievers who were experts in medical and science based field, who were doing very well in their field like Apostle Paul but staked everything because of testimony of their experience. They didn't built church afterwards. That's why I used cases in developed world. Many of them were on top of there career and after the experience did not become billionaires because of their testimonies.
If God can reveal heavens to people who are not yet dead its a lot easier to do so to those who are proclaimed dead. Then mind you many of them were not naturally dead but clinically dead, for few hour or fell into coma.
There was a case of a Nigerian dead four seven days by the nicknamed Lazarus. You can look it up. It happened in Lasuth here in Lagos.
Finally, in the case you cited about Lazarus and the rich in the Bible, Jesus did not issue a general statement. The rich requested somebody in a spirit form to go and warn his brothers, but his request was not granted, and it ends there. If that were a general policy Jesus wouldn't have gone in the spirit to covert Paul.

1. It doesn't matter what one's experience in this world is. What matters above everything else is the Truth as stated by God Himself, and told us through His prophets. undecided

2. Wrong! Heaven and Hell will not be open to admission until after Jesus Christ returns and then Judges the world - Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46. What this means is that only visions of Heaven and Hell are available to us. Now, it makes no sense for a dead person to have a vision of Heaven or Hell... the person is supposed to be dead as a door knob. A vision of Heaven or Hell seen by someone who is alive is one thing, a vision to someone who is supposed to be dead is something entirely different. undecided

3. As Jesus Christ warned, there will be no one sent back from the dead to warn the living. Delusions are just that... delusions. undecided

The Parable of Lazarus and the Rich man in Luke 16 vs 19 - 31 undecided

As I have said in my earlier comment, if that were general rule Jesus would not break it by coming in the Spirit to convert Saul to Paul. The rich man made that request because it thought it would help his kinsmen to easily believe, but the All knowing God said it would not, but in the case of Paul God knew the heart of Paul that it would take a divine encounter to reveal the truth to him. Jesus chose John for Revelation and set him aside from being a martyre for the cross like other Apostles, Jesus is still in the same business today. Heb13:8 God bless you.

1. You don't make sense at all with this assertion, I hope you understand that. That Paul's vision of Jesus Christ took place does not change what Jesus Christ declared regarding the dead. That the Spirit of God came down from Heaven after Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven also does not change the declarations made. I am not certain why you are confusing both cases in the way that you do. undecided

2. One rule is never get carried away by the contents of what is a parable....instead look out for and pay attention to the lesson which is typically at the end of the story or like the many false teachers and false prophets out there, you end up chasing the meaningless. undecided

Jesus Christ explained using the character of Abraham that since the people have all been given the Law by which they will all be judged, none will be sent back from the dead to watch the living living addition. If that declaration means absolutely nothing to you, then it means you don't believe God's Law is the eternal/unchangeable Truth that God and Jesus Christ said it is- Matthew 5 vs 17 - 19

3. This again makes no sense to me. undecided

Matthew 5:17-19 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

What happened in the case of Lazarus and the rich man was not a declaration neither is it a law. It was an instance of destination of man after his sojourn on Earth. That is the subject matter of that story and the focus. The focus was not on declaration of law on modus operandi of sending message from heaven to Earth. These are two separate entities. What you are deducing from the story is just inferences and insinuation.
From the days of the old testament it had been God's prerogative to decide on the method of passing information to his people. From time Abraham, prophets, judges, Kings, priest, till the time of the Lord and Holy Spirit. This is the main reason while Jesus made it clear to Peter when he wanted to know what will happen to John the beloved. He made it known that it was His prerogative.
It will amount to fallacy of hasty generalization for you to use an instance of an event in the scripture as a declaration of law or doctrine. Ney!
The same God who raised the dead, talked through a donkey, send fish on errands, rebuke the wind can do whatever pleases Him. Do away with all teaching you have had on story of Lazarus and the rich man, go over and study it again and meditate after on it

Seems you don't understand the reasoning behind Jesus Christ's telling of Parables still... undecided

As I previously explained, Jesus Christ used parables to teach lessons that reveal rules/laws as regards the Kingdom of God - Matthew 13 vs 10 - 17 & Mark 4 vs 22 - 28. The focus of these parables was the teachings and not the contents per se. For instance, the Parable of the 10 Brides was told by Jesus Christ in order to teach that only those who accomplish all that is required of them by Him will receive the reward of Heaven in the end, others will be cast out into the darkness without exception - Matthew 25 vs 1 - 13. That same rule is then reiterated in Jesus Christ's revelation of what is to take place when He returns to judge all those who are of His Kingdom in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46.

Another similar parable is found in Matthew 25 vs 14 - 30, the Parable of the 10 talents where Jesus Christ, by way of story, teaches yet another rule that applies as far as the Kingdom of God is concerned, which is that those who use that which they have been given will have more of it given to them by the Father. However, those who refuse to use that which they have will have even the little they have taken away from them - Verse 29. That law is Truth for all in the Kingdom of God and it applies to the gaining of Understanding of the Kingdom of God - Matthew 13 vs 12 & Mark 4 vs 22 - 24, Faith, Giving, and receiving, etc. undecided

So, instead of trying to argue over the Truths as spoken by Jesus Christ over 2000 years ago, Truths that still hold even to this day since they are eternal, work instead at understanding the reasoning and application of them all so you can clearly see that as far as God's Truth and Law is concerned. Jesus Christ is the real deal. undecided
