Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State yesterday made history as he named his son, Yakubu, one of the 21 special advisers he appointed.

A statement by Secretary to the State Government, Prof Shedrach Best named the governor’s son as Special Adviser on Special Duties.

He could have served as a consultant for the government in a privately owned enterprise if his expertise allows. Taking a public office in his dad'S government is a little bit too far.

As long as he's qualified and able, why not?

It is not a matter of qualification but a matter of Ethics. What is "Special Duties" anyway . but let us not worry our dullard brains over this. There is no height of injustice you can met on a Nigerian that will make them standup and say Enough is Enough. So Jang, Carry on. I wish you had made your young Nanny a Special Adviser on "Very Special Duties"
