Meet Mrs. Yemisi Iranloye, the Nigerian Queen of Cassava who overcomes all the multinationals and maintains the lead in Cassava production.

With a production of 10,000 tons of cassava per year, she makes a mind-blowing annual turnover of USD12 million, or 6,653,55,200 FCFA.

Nigeria is the world’s largest producer of Cassava.

This woman is a good example of a serious farmer that needs all the encouragement from the government to produce more.

In her own words: “May Nigeria Succeed and Survive Its Detractors.”

“We are Marching Forward Positively, Progressively and Successfully in Agriculture,” she added.

She achieves an incredible annual turnover of millions in dollars.

The promotion of local production in Africa is a reality, here is a great example.
Her company ‘Psaltry International Limited’ reached an annual income of USD12 million after 10 years of operation.
The company operates a network of more than 5,000 farmers, and its customers include big names like Nestlé and Unilever.

In Nigeria, it was Yemisi Iranloye a visionary entrepreneur who launched Psaltry International Limited in 2015.
Psaltry International Limited is specialized in the production and processing of cassava in Nigeria. Among its derived products, starch, flour, and also sorbitol, a natural sweetener obtained from this tuber.
It produces over 10,000 tonnes of starches each year.

Unfortunately in Africa, politicians and some officials divert billions from taxpayers to go and have a good life with their families without thinking for a moment of setting up businesses/factories.

The new generation must absolutely change this rotten and anti-development system.

This lady is an example to follow!!

God bless your efforts much more ma'am. We need more of this in all aspects of agriculture. It's time to depend less on only oil for our large and rapidly growing nation.
