I want to buy a � laptop for my school works. These are the things I really need.
1.A good battery life (at least 9-11 hours).
2. A webcam camera (I take lessons online).
3. An Intel core (I don't even know what this mean sef)
4. 4-8G RAM and 500 Rom
5.it can do simple video editing and browse well.
The truth is I don't know much about laptop, nothing at all. I was told I can get sincere advice here.
My price range is 50-60 thousand. If I cant get it please tell me. BIKO.
Please I need your recommendations.
The brand I have in mind is HP,DELL,ACER or AXUS. Any brand at all please just give me recommendations.
I intend to buy it in ALABA INTERNATIONAL MARKET because that's the nearest market to me.

I believe the bolded is the reason why you haven't gotten any reply. To get one with the specs you listed above, you need to stake that your 60k on 4 odds. lol

Things are quite expensive nowadays. And, I can't recommend laptops intended for graphics related purposes, as my knowledge never reach that side. Na only processor type, generation, clock speed, ram, ROM and battery e stop.lol

For starters were are you hoping to get 9-11 hours of ba3 life on such a budget in this Buhari economy. Those laptops that last for 9 hours +, the price of their ba3 alone is your entire budget up there.

Video editing?? Chie!!!, No offense, but wetin day hungry you no day here.

Simply cut your coat according to your cloth. Your available budget can't get you all you listed above.It obvious you are naive on the subject matter, shine you eyes oo and don't let anybody scam you of you hard earned money.

These are the specs you money would carry, you might even end up topping 20+ to your existing budget.

Processor Core i3 or if you are lucky core i5 second generation
RAM :4gb
Ba3: at least 3 hours
HDD :350gb and above.
The above specs would serve your purpose, except the ba3 and video editing bit.

If you want to do video editing, up your budget to at least 300k, so as to get a laptop with a dedicated graphics card.

If you have 85k Sir, you can come for the laptop below; though it goes for 100k if you check one of my recent topics...

9-11 hours backup. for 50-60k price. its obvious you don't really know a thing about laptops. 200k systems sef never use upto 10hrs backup talkless of 60k. better forgot about backup. the least you could afford will be 4hrs battery.

let me break it down for you. backup hours depends on the no of battery cells in the laptop, a dual cell battery will have longer backup than a single cell. most inbuilt batteries have larger cells than removable battery. the backup of laptop will depend on the power of the processor and the generation of the processor, intel celeron has highest backup than core i series, because its more cooler and less power efficient. core 2 duos, core i 1st /2nd will have 2hrs backup. 3rd gen 3hrs+, 4th/5th gen 4hrs+
