We all know Russia defeated Ukraine months ago before NATO started sending mercenaries and weapons into Ukraine to help the Zelensky administration. I think this war will drag on for years as long as NATO props up its support for Ukraine. Russia is heavily sanctioned which is affecting its ability to restock its stockpiles while Ukraine with no sanctions continues to enjoy NATO support. This is a precarious situation for Russia.

NATO has clearly stated that it wants to reduce Russia's ability to conduct war which I believe they are determined to achieve with their long term support for Ukraine.

In my opinion if Russia doesn't see an external help they are going to run out of amunition which will make them loss much personal at last they are going to withdraw,but it think that one can happen if Europe can still manage to supply Ukraine during winter

The war would end in peace agreement and ceasefire. War would stall during winter. Both nations would soon tire. It is war of attrition but ukraine is more motivated to fight due to obvious reason.

Russian pundits said it themselves. Not defeating Ukraine doesn't mean Ukraine would win. War is not chess or ludo game that you can just declare wnner. War of attrition is going on in Ukraine.
