On Sunday, a match between Arsenal and Brentford ended with a score of 3-0 in favor of Arsenal. This victory allowed Arsenal to regain the top spot in the Premier League table.

During the victory, Mikel Arteta gave the ball to a little boy named Ethan Nwaneri, who later set a new record for being the youngest player in the Premier League's whole history.

As a result of injuries sustained by Martin Odegaard, who serves as captain, and Oleksandr Zinchenko, who was brought in over the summer, the Spaniard decided to start Nwaneri on the bench.

The following are a few details about the youngster that you most likely are not aware of.

Nathan was born in March of 2007 to parents who were born in Nigeria.
Ethan Chidiebere Nwaneri is the full name of this man.
When he made his debut for Arsenal in their 3-0 victory against Brentford on Sunday, he had been on the planet for 15 years and 181 days.

The previous record was held by Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott, who was 16 years and 30 days old when he played for Fulham in 2019. He broke the record with his performance. Arsenal utilizes Nwaneri as an attacking midfielder in their lineup.
When he was nine years old, he signed up to play for Arsenal. He had already played for their under-18 side by the time he was 14 years old.

Nwaneri started the 2022–23 season playing for Arsenal's under-18 team, but due to his impressive play, he was moved up to the under-21 team for the remainder of the season.

It was in September when he first started training with the first team at Arsenal. On September 18, he was named to the match day squad for his first Premier League game with Arsenal, which was a match against Brentford. After that game, he was listed among the match day substitutes for Arsenal.

It has been said that Nwaneri is a "number 10" who dribbles well, plays with flair, and is versatile enough to play wide as well as central positions.

Nwaneri plays for the England Under-16 team at the moment and has also earned one cap for the Under-17 team, but he is eligible to play for Nigeria because his parents are Nigerian.
