Full-stack Developer Vs Data Engineer by Stormtrooper11(m): 6:54pm On Sep 20, 2022
Heyy, guys. I'm a green in tech. I'm not in University currently due to the strike, but I want to have a job that I can learn and make a living with.

I currently enrolled at a TecHub and I'm confused to which to choose amongst the above fields in Tech.

I want something that I don't need a degree or years of experience to get a job with, a field that has high job availability and can work remotely.

Please which can i get that with between Full-stack development and Data engineering?

A software engineer is the most versatile and future-proof career.

There are several times more software engineering jobs than data engineering and data science combined.

A good software engineer can easily learn data infrastructure patterns and become a data engineer in 4–8 weeks.

A good software engineer can easily learn applied statistics and machine learning and become a data scientist in 8–12 weeks.

A good software engineer can easily lateral within their company and become a product manager in 1–2 weeks.

A good software engineer can easily build a web or mobile app on nights and weekends to bootstrap a startup without any VC funding in a few months.

Or you can direct Me on where to learn about it ?
Would appreciate your response, thanks.

Any insights??
What makes the data science preferable than data analysis?
I’ll gladly appreciate you explaining it to Me, thanks.

I'll say go for software engineering. Then you can choose if you want to be a web developer or an app developer or a data engineer.

But full-stack is still cool
