I have an inspiring message to pass across to you
today.

Back in December 2017, I wrote down the message
below for myself.

Read it:

In 2018, commit to doing the difficult
things, the things other people run away from, the
things that scare you...For it is in doing the
difficult things that true progress is going to
happen for you. Think about the things you didn't
achieve last year. You didn't achieve them because
you didn't do what it takes to achieve them or
you gave up too easily.
------------------------------

So, let me ask you a question.

Are you living your life doing the same thing that
majority of people are doing which is why they are
mediocre and poor?

Are you running away from those hard decisions that
can change your life but seem scary?

HERE IS THE PLAIN TRUTH:

Change is scary.

It is not easy.

That is why majority of people just wake up and do
the same easy thing that others do.

And that is why their lives don't improve

E.g.

Starting a business is scary.

And running it is even scarier.

Not everyone has to run a business 100%

Some people don't even need it.

They have a job that pays them a lot of money

But that is just about 0.01% of the population

If you are not part of that 0.01% and you want
more out of life, then you have to start making
scary decisions.

I know...

I know 95% of people on this platform are likely
too chicken to make such decisions.

But are you one of them sir/ma?

Don't answer.

Your actions and the money in your bank account
will tell.

But if you are telling yourself the truth, then
you will realize that you need to start reprogramming
yourself to attract more money into your life

This my story. I guess most married men have 2 sources of income, theirs and the wife's. I know some proud men who don't ask for what she brings to the table. However their home is arranged, it works for them. Both contributions, go in the direction of a project or towards urgent needs for the family...

I digress, I'm the sole breadwinner so everything comes by me. That my wife isn't contributing is a story of another day. I do 2 jobs which barely meet the needs of the home.

I leave the house before my children wake up and they're in bed by the time I return. Who knows that feeling that you're missing out on a part of your children's lives?

I was involved in 2 motorcycle accidents just trying to shuttle between both places of work. I had to make a choice, change this or get crippled doing so. I just couldn't continue like this...


So I started thinking about looking for another source of income that can meet the challenges I was facing. One that would afford me the time to be home and make enough bread for the children with enough to spare for me and the wife.

One that won't further distance me from my family and friends.

One that will clear or aid to clear all outstanding indebtedness and give me room to breathe. Can you see?

Not by my doing, I was falling into the trap of being a target of scammers. Too many times to count. All because I wanted something better.

I couldn't steal or kill. I was tired of begging, as that line always dries up faster than you expect. Meanwhile, the little savings or money made, always ran out before month end.

Then a friend shared something I'll never forget, 'Store your treasures where they cannot be stolen or devalued.'

He has read more than 700 books, he's written a few as well and he's still reading. I looked at him and said how's that going to change the situation I'm in?

'Take it one day at a time. One thing at a time. Rome wasn't built in a day'

He smiled and said 'improve yourself o.'

'Have you heard of this book, live breathing cash machine by toyin Omotoso?'. No! I almost shouted at him, irritatingly, 'I need money jare...'
