Could you tell us how to play these game? I remember some but the names may differ.

I declare
Is that when you have columns of alphabets | name | country | food | thing | and whatever else and someone calls "I declare, (a letter)" and you hurry and fill in the row for that letter according to the column heading?

Tinko Tinko
I think this is a hand game and it goes something like "Tinko, Tinko, Tinkoko, Tinko, "

Bash Me:

"Oba ni e dawo jo, Oba ni e faa gun", "Ebu Iyo", and Dark Dellusion on PS1,  grin
I remember the "Oba" one. Good times. Good times.

I enjoyed playing "bouncing" where a group of boys will gather and bounce soccerball on their foot without letting the ball drop to the floor. The first person to reach 200 is the winner.

Another one is a memory game, i can't remember the name. In a group, someone screams out "cities", "foods" or any other category. Then each person in the group takes turn to quickly mention something under the category. The person who stalls, loses.

Example. Name of Cities: calabar, jos, ibadan, nairaobi, kampala.
Re: The Games U Played As A Child by engrddebo: 6:42pm On Oct 14, 2011

no standing in my country(very dangerous)

table soccer
arm wrestling
video games(my mom would send me and i go to a game shop and spend 2hrs and blame it on too much ppl) i just realiszed they knew all along. lol

table tennis(usually on anything we can find be it bench, table, hard floor)
i dont know the name but we used agwalumor seeds and rubber bands
catapult (ppl bed start to sink cuz of this) lol.,.,
paper games

and lots more

smoking paper behind flowers,
flying kites,
There was this interesting risky game we used to play during holidays on my street when our parents have gone out. The game was played using a lorry Tyre which came from where non of us could say. The game was like this:
Someone will crawl into the tyre while the tyre would be rolled down(our street was a slope)the street. The guy that catches the Tyre would be next to ride down the street in the tyre.
The fun continued till one fateful afternoon when the tyre evaded its catchers and crossed the junction. We pursued the tyre shouting on top of our voices until it got to the edge of the major road but luckily for us and the guy inside the Tyre a mechanic at the junction caught the tyre. When the guy raised alarm after discovering a little boy inside the tyre we all took to our heels. That evening the guy's(inside the Tyre) mum visited our houses one by one. Till date I still remember the kind of flogging I received that evening. I was also banned from leaving the house while the holiday lasted.

Tree climbing,
Arin(ayo),
police and thief(plenty kids in my compound back den):using guns built 4rm pawpaw stalk,in which we push in 2 cut-out dunlop slippers dat we force into it wit a stick as d bullet. We push d 1st one 2 d tront tip,den put d other @ d bottom en push it in a bit till preasure starts 2 push d one in front den bullet is corked.Wen u site ur target den u push, den it goes powww!
There was dis other gun we make wit paper and flexible broomsticks plus dat transparent eleganza biro container, which served as d barrell.u put inside it a short broomstick as d bullet den u flick it out wit d flexible 1 which has been bent as d trigger. It was dangerous den,bt we were ignorant. We also used as guns;paper pieces fired by rubber bands and also water guns.
We played house(mummy en daddy)I've been doing kini 4 long O! I even had a groupie wit 2 girls wich were a bit older dan me(lk 4 yrs) they seduced me.I did it wit evry girl in d compound.I was a bad boy.Only God knows where d spirit went wen I grew-up.
