I’ll read this later.

What do you children gain from lying in this Nairaland? Sha, debates, yes? It’s understandable.

I don't really blame young ladies who decide not to get corporate jobs after NYSC, but prefer to sit at home or sell stuff on the gram and all that.
You should blame any woman who decides not to test her potential in life. She is only lazy. The unfortunate part is she will hold men to a standard which she can’t uphold. Everybody wants successful individuals in their lives, even lazy people.

finding it really difficult to go back to the office despite her brilliance and educational qualification
If she really possesses these attributes then she should know that policies differ depending on the work environment. Humans are encouraged to date continuously since no two people are alike. Why should the workplace prove any different?

she didn't "play ball" (sleep with her bosses)
Understandable.

dress seductively
Na deeper life?

or become the "company's sexy girl"
Many women will kill for this role. If she isn’t a deeper life member then there’s something she chose not to tell you.

same job a male colleague would do and get a raise, a lady would have to do ×3 to prove her worth, aside from being tagged bossy/intimidating.
There’s something she surely didn’t tell you. Ask her male colleagues for their view.

Many women make the mistake of becoming aggressive and negatively emotional towards males instead of learning to healthily compete with them. Many only-females of families also act this way.

there's this unwritten rule that for a single lady one of the "values" she should bring to the office is sexiness
If this was true, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala and Oby Ezekwesili would subsist as housewives their whole lives.

Then most get frustrated and resort to other means to survive.
Changing workplaces on the regular is also a means to survive.

This is just a bit of what Itunu(not real name) went through
Many women are successful and thriving in corporate positions around the country. Her situation is one out of the unfortunate lot.

Yes the corporate world is difficult for everybody but it's mostly unfair to young single ladies.
Those under-qualified for a role or too mentally lazy to explore other options.
