Security and why Citizens needs more awareness

The security instrument of states even the 1st world country is becoming stretched and inadequate at preventing and protecting citizens from criminal targets, terrorism and incidence that delimits life and properties.

After the 9/11 Americans wakes up to a new dawn of protecting both the Homeland and also taking the fight to the enemy and their collaborators popular havens for proscribed groups and terror cells.

Nigerians are total illiterates on key active responses to security threats and situations, they lack the knowledge and the apparatus designated to protect them is obsolete.

I would not mention the laxities because we are all familiar with it and no need reemphasizing it, however this call is to bring to your awareness that adult men and women of military age needs to enlightened themselves to basic security knowledge and know-how.

These techniques are arguably requires practicals however knowing the theoretical aspect of it can protect and save life when it matters.

It is advisable that knowledge of security and keeping safe during crisis be your priority as a grown man. The dire situations of the 3rd world has ceded the priority of life and living to the privileged and elite politicians.
