The party was more focused on taking power so they went for the candidate they thought can win election by choosing consensus rather than zoning. Now it is clear that decision will get them NOWHERE... they didn't know his Excellency Mr Peter Obi will pull such monumental love and support from Nigerians. Mr Peter Obi joined Labour Party and its looking like a revolution, over 150 million Nigerians have organically prepared themselves for Mr Peter Obi and would stop at nothing to have the leader of their choice. The Nigerian people begged the PDP to give them Obi, that they would lead the campaign but their greed for dollars no allow them. Look at it today na. Not just PDP but also APC. Osibanjo would have provided a healthy alternative but the greed and wickedness of one man ensured that it would never be. Now APC is busy trying to whitewash and repackage someone with several baggage - a very daunting task. |
