Our future depends on educator, educators - Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari, who spoke on
2022 World Teachers’ Day in Abuja, said " federal government is determined to return teachers, teaching and the teaching profession to their rightful places."

“October 5th  is a very special date. It is the day we celebrate the very best of us and perhaps the most important persons in our nation, teachers."

Note that for about six months, Nigerian public universities have been shut down, because lecturers are on strike.

It is not just ironical or hypocritical but also ridiculous for Buhari to pontificate over teachers and the teachers, when the nation's educational sector is, ripped apart by wage crises, decrepit structures and declining standards.

This is why, it is imperative for Nigerians to arise against this asphyxiation hegemony, by voting for the right candidate as well as a selfless and competent leader, in the 2023 presidential election.
